What We Believe

  • In the triune God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ is true God and true man.
  • All have sinned and come short of the glory of God and need salvation.
  •  All scripture is given by the inspiration of God.
  • Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men.
  • The Holy Spirit is a divine person.
  • It is the will of God that every Believer is filled with the Holy Spirit.
  • Healing is provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to every believer.
  • The Church consists of all who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
  • There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust.
  • In the personal, visible, imminent return of Jesus Christ.
  • In water baptism and observance of the Lord's Supper.

WATER BAPTISM:

Jesus said, "Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19.

Baptism is symbolic. It symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and our own relationship to His victory over sin, death, and the grave, Roman 6:35.

HOLY COMMUNION:

Holy Communion is a sacrament that commemorates Jesus' Last Supper with his disciples. The ceremony of Holy Communion is given to us by Christ Himself so that we might remember and participate in His last supper with His disciples. He commands us to observe it. Do this "in remembrance of me," He says. (Luke 22:19; 1 Corinthians 11:24-35)
